He is passionate about growing deep and real in Christ. His favorite theological interests center in the process of spiritual transformation, the maturing of leaders, and the life of the Trinity and human relationships. He enjoys physical fitness, nutrition, cooking, golf, and would love to have more time for playing the acoustic guitar.
Bev Freeman
Bev Freeman began her service as Administrative Assistant and Office Manager to the East Coast Conference in the winter of 2000. Born in Attleboro, MA, Bev was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical Covenant Church there. She graduated from an all women’s college, with a degree in sociology, and, after marriage and a move to Chicago, worked at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. A career move for her husband, Bob, brought Bev back to New England. Family life in West Hartford, CT, where the Freemans raised two sons and two daughters, was enriched by membership in Bethany Covenant Church, Berlin, CT.
Bev has served as Chair of the Management Advisory Committee of Covenant Village of Cromwell, and is currently is serving her second term on the national board of Covenant Retirement Communities. Saying yes at Bethany to leadership roles in youth ministries and the church council, being elected church chair and chair of a capital campaign, has taught Bev that asking God to help her become the person He created her to be, yields blessings in ways she would have never dreamt possible. Believing He is not done yet, Bev lives each day with a grateful and expectant heart.
